What Are We Up to?
1. Junior & Senior Youth for 2026
Because we have a wide age range in our youth group, we’re going to try something new this year by splitting into two groups. Junior Youth will include students in Grades 6–8, and Senior Youth will include students in Grades 9–12.Since some of our current Grade 8s have already been part of Youth for the past two years, they will continue with Senior Youth. Any new Grade 8 students will begin in Junior Youth.
Each group will have its own space for learning, games, and lessons, while still coming together regularly for big group events and game nights. We’re excited about the opportunities this creates for growth, connection, and fun for everyone!

2. Jr. Youth Info
Junior Youth will be led by our wonderful friends Joy & Jamie! After Joy joined us as a youth leader in September, I asked if she would be interested in spending more time with our younger youth—and she was excited to say yes.
Joy is an incredible person with a deep knowledge of the Bible, and she’s also a teacher, so she brings both wisdom and experience to this role. She’ll be guiding Junior Youth through a series on spiritual disciplines. While the word discipline might make you think of consequences or extra chores, Joy will help students understand the positive role discipline plays in growing a healthy, meaningful relationship with God.

3. Sr. Youth Info
Hello to all of you “elderly” teens! 😄 Senior Youth will be led by me (Marissa) and Tyler.
This year, our plan is to hear from a variety of people in our community—pastors, parents, leaders, and more—who will share stories of how they’ve navigated life’s challenges and grown in their relationship with God. These stories are a great opportunity to learn from others, connect with their experiences, and maybe even find a mentor as you think about next steps like baptism.
And yes… by popular request, memory verses are back! Come ready for fun games, meaningful conversations, inspiring stories, and lots of opportunities to grow in your faith and learn more about Jesus!
